The Indian Navy announced that it will commission the first Survey Vessel Large (SVL) ship, INS Sandhayak, at the Naval Dockyard in Vizag. Built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata, the ship is designed for conducting full-scale hydrographic surveys.
