Renowned Hindustani classical vocalist Ustad Rashid Khan passed away at the age of 55 in Kolkata after a prolonged battle with cancer. He belonged to the Rampur-Sahaswan Gharana and was hailed as one of the greatest voices of his generation. He was honored with the Padma Bhushan in 2022.
