The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has nominated three Indian cities—Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), and Udaipur (Rajasthan)—for the prestigious Wetland City Accreditation (WCA) under the Ramsar Convention. This is the first time India has nominated cities for this recognition.
