The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has submitted nominations for Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), and Udaipur (Rajasthan) for the Wetland City Accreditation (WCA) under the Ramsar Convention. This is the first time India has nominated cities for this voluntary scheme.
