The Central Government has hiked the interest rate on the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) scheme by 20 basis points to 8.2% for the January-March 2026 quarter. The interest rate on the 3-year Time Deposit has also been increased to 7.1%. Rates for other small savings schemes like PPF and NSC remain unchanged.
